This Sunday October 21st, 2018, almost 600 children aged under 10, who play for some 17 UK Clubs, will also be taking part in the fourth Oakman Cup, one of the UK’s largest, independent annual Festivals of Minis and Juniors Rugby, which will once again take place at Allianz Park, the home of Saracens Rugby.

The beauty of an authentic Neapolitan pizza is in it's simplicity. In August, the head chefs from Oakman Inns travelled to Naples and the region of Campania to learn a thing or two from the Masters themselves.

The widely reported acquisition of the former Refectory premises on Hampton Hill’s High Street (No 92) by one of the UK’s most-respected and fast-growing pub groups, Oakman Inns, promises a new start for the building in mid-November following a planned investment of over £1.1m to transform it into The Beech House Bar & Restaurant.

Oakman Inns are known for their fresh, flavoursome Mediterranean-inspired menu, which focuses on using carefully selected ingredients. At the heart of this menu lies the hand-crafted pizzas baked in traditional wood-burning ovens. Last week, Oakman Inns sent their head chefs, led by Chef Director Ross Pike, to Naples to discover for themselves, the secrets of an authentic Neapolitan Pizza.

Oakman Inns bought The Royal Foresters in Ascot in December 2016. Building work began in the autumn of 2017 and finally opened in July 2018. It was the most challenging projects that Oakman Inns has ever undertaken. Our 240 day time lapse shows the work and restoration behind the new Royal Foresters - reborn from the rubble.

On Tuesday night, 3rd July, at London’s Grosvenor House, Oakman Inns’ CEO, Peter Borg-Neal, was recognised with a Pub & Bar Award at the 35th Annual ‘Cateys’, one of the hospitality industry’s highest awards for pub operators. The same day Peter had agreed the acquisition of Oakman’s 25th pub site, Lock Fyne in Farnham, Surrey, which will be re-named The Lost Boy, referencing Peter Pan’s connection with Farnham.

Swanbourne Music Festival, affectionately nicknamed Betsey Fest by its followers, has announced their 2018 line-up for Buckinghamshire's very own August Bank Holiday family music festival taking place on Sunday 26th August.
