Raising The Bar: Mulled Cider

 
 
 

A warming festive drink to enjoy this Christmas season, raise the bar with our Mulled Cider recipe.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 Litre Cider

  • 3 Star Anise

  • 2 Bay Leaves

  • 1 Cinnamon Stick

  • 6 Cloves

  • 1 Lemon

  • 2 Apples

  • 2 Clementines

  • 50g Sugar

 

Method

  1. Pour the cider into a large sauce pan.

  2. Add the spices and stir gently

  3. Peel and chop the lemon, apples and clementines

  4. Add the fruit to the cider mixture

  5. Place on the stove top and bring to the boil

  6. Stir in 50g sugar.

  7. Turn the heat down and simmer for 5 minutes
